Andy Tobe is the 2022 AOY

For the second year in a row Andy Tobe wins the coveted AOY! With a very strong Fish Off at the Green River he put the necessary distance needed between him and second place to secure the title. Bob Farmer made a late season run with also a strong finish at the Green River Fish off to put the pressure on Andy. At the end of the day Andy’s lead was too much to overcome. Congrats again to Andy for a very good season.

Ernie Shuler Wins at Brookville

The BCB final tourney of the 2022 season had Ernie Shuler take the win posting 2 nice fish for a total weight of 4.35lbs. Ernie would also take Big Bass at 2.46lbs. Bob Farmer would take second with 2 fish weighing 3.00lbs even. Rick Hensler would round out the top 3 with 2 fish weighing 2.99lbs. And yes you read it right!!! Congrats to the winners. A great season overall and shout out to all who help make this another successful season. I am already looking forward to 2023!

Andy Tobe Wins Fishoff at The Green River

Andy Tobe put a beat down on the rest of the BCB club taking first place at the annual Fishoff! Andy got off to a great start on day 1 weighing in 4 fish for 11.50lbs. He would add 2 more fish weighing 3.34 lbs to his total for a total tourney weight of 14.84 lbs. Tony Vieson would finish 2nd with a total of 5 fish weighing 11.22. Tony also captured big bass weighing 4.94 lbs. Bob Farmer would round out the top 3 with 7 fish weighing 10.38 lbs. Congratulations!

Jake Donahoe Wins at Paint Creek

On a beautiful Sunday, September 18th Jake Donahoe would win his first tourney as part of the Butler County Bassmasters club. He would finish with 4 bass weighing 6.77lbs and would also take big bass honors with a 2.03lb largemouth. Andy Tobe would take second place with 2 weighing in at 2.43lbs. Rounding out the top 3 Josh Zeller would weigh in 2 fish for 2.34lbs.

Ernie Shuler Wins at Tanners Creek

On a very warm day in August and what turned out to be a very tough bite Ernie Shuler was trying to catch up from a rough start to the season. He went out and not only won the tourney at Tanners he also took Big Bass honors with a 4.17lb largemouth he landed near the end of the tournament. Jake Donahoe would take 2nd place with 2.88lbs and Tony Vieson would take 3rd with 1.15lbs. Only 7 fish were weighed in for a total of 10.58lbs.
