Rick Hensler Wins at Tanners Creek

On July 11th the BCB held its club tourney at Tanners Creek. We have had a lot of rain leading up to this tourney on the river and was not sure if we would be fishing the river or one of our back up lakes. As it turns out the weather held out with only about a half hour of a solid downpour mid morning with a few sprinkles on and off all day. Rick Hensler would find four bass weighing 6.08 lbs with the last bass landed with less than 5 minutes to go near the ramp. Jake Donahoe would land three fish for 4.85 lbs and take 2nd place. Bill Schneider would round out the top three with four bass weighing 4.75 lbs. Bob Farmer would take BIG BASS with a nice largemouth weighing in at 2.71 lbs.

Bob Farmer takes the “W” at Rocky Fork Lake

On a bit of a warm day Bob Farmer took the win at Rocky Fork Lake posting a 5 fish limit worth 7.53 lbs. He would also take the Big Bass honors with a 2.55 lb largemouth. Rick Hensler would finish 2nd behind Bob with a 5 fish limit weighing in at 6.14 lbs. Jake Donahoe would finish 3rd posting a 5 fish limit weighing 4.85 lbs. Capping off  the hot day was a down pour right after we pulled the boats out and started weighing in.

No pictures were taken due to the down pour during weigh – in.
