Ken Reatherford Wins his First Club Tourney at Eagle Creek

On an overcast day on the river the fishing was tough. There were no limits caught and several club members did not weight in a fish. However, there were a few guys that found some fish. Pokie (Kenneth Reatherford) found 4 fish to weigh in for 5.12lbs and took first place for his first win in the club! Congrats Pokie! Herman Baker (a new club member) weighed in 3 fish for 4.35lbs and would take second place. Herman would also take big bass with a 2.75lb largemouth. Congrats Herman! And rounding out the top 3 spots would be Darrell Penny weighing in 2 fish for 2.57lbs. Congrats to all who weighed in fish!

On April 16th the BCB would visit St. Mary’s lake for the second tourney of 2023. What they would find is the same typical weather and wind that this lake is famous for. There were a few members that found fish despite the conditions. Bill Schneider would take the win with 4 bass weighing 9.07lbs. Andy Tobe would finish second with 4 bass weighing 6.16lbs. Ernie Shuler would round out the top three with 3 bass weighing 6.04lbs. Ernie would also take big bass weighing 3.15lbs just edging out Bill’s 3.12lb big bass.

Andy Tobe is the 2022 AOY

For the second year in a row Andy Tobe wins the coveted AOY! With a very strong Fish Off at the Green River he put the necessary distance needed between him and second place to secure the title. Bob Farmer made a late season run with also a strong finish at the Green River Fish off to put the pressure on Andy. At the end of the day Andy’s lead was too much to overcome. Congrats again to Andy for a very good season.
