On a beautiful day for fishing Darrell Penny would bring a limit to the scales to win the tourney. Darrell would weigh in 5 fish for 9.02lbs and barely missed the big bass with a 3.34lb largemouth. Congrats Darrell! Josh Zehler would also bring a limit to the scales weighing 7.84lbs to finish 2nd. Great job Josh! Rounding out the top three Danny Schmitz would bring 4 to the scales weighing 7.74lbs which also included the big bass of the tourney weighing 3.56lbs. Congrats Danny!
COLD, WINDY AND MUDDY! One fish weighed in at Laramie and yes you are reading this correctly! Congrats to Andy Tobe for weighing in the only fish of the tournament. Andy’s bass weighed 2.29lbs.
The first tourney was held at Guist Creek on a cold and rainy day. However most everyone caught fish with a few nice ones showing up. 21 bass were caught (compared to the next tourney and only one bass was br0ught to the scales) more on that in a minute. Congrats to Herman Baker for winning the first tourney of the year with a 9.97lb bag. Bob Farmer would finish second with 7.91lbs of largemouth bass with a big bass of 4.80lbs! Congrats to all who weighed in fish.

On a fairly nice fall day Bill Schneider would bring a five bass limit to the scales weighing 10.18lbs to take first place at Brookville. Congratulations Bill on your limit and your tournament win! Ernie Shuler would also find a limit of 5 bass weighing 9.05lbs to take second place! Nice job Ernie! Rounding out the top three Jacob Baker would land 2 bass for 5.54lbs which included big bass of 4.12lb. Great job Jacob. Congrats to all who weighed fish in at Brookville. And that wraps up the 2024 fishing season for this club. Looking forward to 2025!
With one tourney to go in the2024 season Ernie Shuler is trying to make a late run at Herman Baker for AOY. Ernie would weigh in a 5 bass limit for 7.25lbs that would include big bass weighing 1.89lbs. Congrats Ernie! Jacob Baker would weigh in 3 fish for 4.80lbs to take second place. The club participated in our annual Fish off at Lake Erie this year held on October 5th & 6th. A little wind and a bit cold on Day 1 but warmed up. We would cancel day 2 due to high winds. Andy Tobe would take the win with a 5 bass limit weighing in at 15.72lbs. Andy would land Big Bass with a 4.45lb largemouth. Congrats to Andy! Josh Zehler would finish 2nd also with a 5 bass limit weighing in at 13.05lbs. Rounding out the top 3 Herman Baker would finish 3rd with another 5 fish limit weighing in at 10.66lbs. Congrats to both Josh and Herman for their limits.
