On September 22nd on what turned out to be a very tough day of fishing Jake Baker pulled off his first win in the club by mere ounces. This day had no limits posted and the most fish caught were 3. Jake would come to the scales with 3 bass weighing 3.39lbs for the win. Rick Hensler would also come to the scales with 3 bass weighing 3.23lbs. Rounding out the top 3 would be Matt Townsley weighing 3.05lbs. Jake Donahoe would win big bass with a 1.73lb largemouth. Congrats to the top 3 winners.

Danny Schmitz finally got on the board with a five fish limit for 7.49lbs for his first win of the season. On top of that Danny also posted big bass of 2.58lbs. Congrats Danny on a big day! There were 4 limits and one 4 fish bag for 36 bass and over 45lbs of fish. Josh Zehler would take second place with 4 fish weighing 5.87lbs nice job Josh. Rounding out 3rd would be Herman Baker with 5.79lbs. Great job by everyone in the club with the largest weight of the season of 45.07lbs.

On a very warm day at the river everything went according to plan this past week for Bob Farmer. Mr. Farmer would be the only member in the club to post a limit with 6.44lbs and would also take the Big Bass honors with 1.88lb largemouth. Herman Baker would finish 2nd with 3 fish weighing 3.97lbs and rounding out the top 3 would be Darrell Penny weighing in 1.89lbs of fish.

Herman Baker takes the win at White Oak with a 5 bass limit weighing in at 6.70lbs. Herman had 3 dead fish due to a live well issue for a total penalty of .75lbs that gave him a net weight of 5.95lbs which was still good enough to win the tourney. Good job Herman way to be on fish. Mike Hillard took 2nd place with 1 fish weighing a whopping 4.30lbs that took Big Bass as well. Nice fish Mike! Rounding out the top 3 would be Darrell Penny with a very nice 3.45lb large mouth. A couple of very nice river fish from both Darrell Penny and Mike Hillard. The club will return to the river for our July club tourney going out of Tanners Creek.

This club event at St. Mary’s on June 9th was the make=up tourney from earlier in the season when we had to cancel due to weather conditions.

Herman Baker sporting his new Bass Cat boat wins his second Bass Club event of the 2024 season. Herman would bring 4 fish to the scales weighing 5.89lbs. Finishing second Bob Farmer would bring two bass to the scales weighing 5.09lbs that included a big bass of 2.61lbs. Rounding out the top 3 Rick Hensler would weigh 2 bass for 3.64lbs.
